Run in England say
- “We're making running available and accessible for everyone, with running
groups being created for women and mixed gender, schools, work places and
families. Our programme is about helping you to exercise every week no matter
your age, shape, size or ability. There are groups for you to run with being
created all over the country and trained Run in England group leaders to
support you through those first steps - all at your own pace with no
competition. So why not run with us for some fun in a safe and social
environment, and you can join with friends, family or colleagues.”

Run in Leeds groups are being led by athletics club runners who, unlike
many Run in England group leaders, do this voluntarily and receive no
payment. However there is likely to be a
small session (typically £1 or £1.50) charge to pay for the facilities
(changing, showers etc) and to include a small contribution to club funds.
